My experience with the blog was really good, at
first I did not know how to write in a language which I do not handle well, and
learn in the attempt, especially if I am a little afraid, both when speaking
and writing in English. Even with that "fear" most of the blogs I
decided to write them using the translator as little as possible, guided by
what I knew and using the dictionary. I was able to keep up with the
publication of more than half of the blogs, but from time to time due to the
academic load of other subjects, I fell behind with some of the blogging, and
in fact, when I was preparing to do them, my brain was in "loading"
mode, so some blogs published them with great distrust, since I doubted the way
I wrote it.
The activity itself helped me a little more to
learn new vocabulary and strengthen a little the one I already knew, especially
in the part of reading the blogs of my classmates, every time I started reading
the blogs, I tried to mentally translate them and capture the ideas they wrote,
when there were words I didn't know or phrases, I looked for help in the
translator or dictionary.
Personally, I would have liked to write about
topics such as places in the world, different cultures or books, I liked this
activity itself, but I don't think I will continue writing after finishing it.
